Privacy policy

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is Jade Soluciones Informáticas SURL, located at Calle 57 edif 10 616, Marianao, Havana, Cuba.

2. What data we collect

• Account: first and last name, email address, password (stored encrypted with a hash function, never as readable text), phone and company if you provide them, preferred language and an optional profile picture.
• Sign-in with Google (only if you choose it): your Google account identifier, email, name and picture that Google shares with us. We never receive your Google password.
• Requests and projects: the description of what you need, answers to our questions, files you attach, messages with our team, and the related quotes, approvals and invoices.
• Contact form: name, email, company, subject and message.
• Technical data: to curb abuse we store an encrypted fingerprint (hash) of your IP address and browser, not the original values; we also keep access and security activity logs.

3. What we use it for

We do not sell your data, we do not build advertising profiles and we do not use it for other purposes without asking for your consent first.

• Creating and managing your account and keeping you signed in.
• Handling your messages and requests, preparing quotes, managing and invoicing projects and delivering results to you.
• Sending you service emails: verification and password recovery codes, and notices about your requests, projects and invoices.
• Protecting the site against improper access, abuse and fraud.
• Complying with legal, accounting and tax obligations.

4. Who we share it with

Only with providers who help us deliver the service and process the data on our behalf and for that purpose:

• Google, only if you sign in with your Google account.
• Resend, to send service emails.
• The provider of the server hosting the platform, and Backblaze, where we keep backups.
• Authorities or bodies when a law or legal order requires it.

5. Where it is stored

Some of these providers have their servers outside Cuba, so your data may be processed in other countries. We try to choose providers with adequate security measures and limit what is sent to them to what is necessary.

6. Cookies and storage

• We use one technical cookie, needed to keep you signed in (it is called jade_refresh, cannot be read by scripts and lasts up to 7 days). Without it you could not sign in.
• We remember your language preference.
• We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics tools. If you use the Google button, Google may use its own cookies under its policy.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your data while you have an account or a relationship with us and afterwards for as long as needed to meet legal, accounting and tax obligations or handle possible claims. Backups are kept for a limited time and then deleted.

8. Security

We protect the platform with encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, role-based access control, abuse limits and backups. No system is infallible: if we detect an incident affecting your data we will act to contain it and inform you where appropriate.

9. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your data or to object to its processing. You can fix many details yourself under "My account". For the rest, write to contacto@jadetechgroup.com saying what you want and which email you registered with; we may ask you to prove your identity.

If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may contact the competent data protection authority.

10. Minors

This site offers services to businesses and professionals and is not aimed at minors. If you believe a minor has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is published on this page with its update date and, if the change is significant, we will let you know.
